Common name: Gold Angelfish.

Species: Pterophyllum scalare.

Habitat: Captive bred in Asia.

Potential size: 15cm but usually smaller in the aquaria.

Social behaviour: Territorial but generally peaceful suitable for nearly all large fish community aquariums, may become aggressive when spawning. Angelfish school when young then form pairs. Best kept individually or in groups of 3+.
