Common name: Red Shoulder Severum.

Species: Heros sp. 'Rotkeil'.

Habitat: South America; Amazon basin near Iquitos, Peru.

Potential size: 6" / 15cm.

Social Behaviour: Except when spawning, it is fairly mild-mannered for a cichlid of this size. This makes it a good choice for a large-fish community aquarium.

Food: Flake, pellets, frozen food, live food etc.
