Common name: Red Titanic Pleco (L273).

Species: Pseudacanthicus sp.

Habitat: South America; Amazon, Lower Amazon, Tapajós.

Potential size: 30cm.

Social behaviour: Peaceful community fish.

Food: Carnivore although not a predator, prawns and chopped mussel are favoured and promote good growth. Some vegetable matter should also be provided to balance the diet.
