Common name: Sri Lankan Rainbow Rasbora.
Species: Rasbora wilpita.
Habitat: Collected from a single forest stream at Wilpita close to the town of Akuressa in Southern Sri Lanka. Endangered due to deforestation.
Potential size: 10cm.
Social behaviour: A peaceful community fish, ideal for well-furnished aquariums. A schooling species by nature & ideally should be kept in groups of 4 or 5+. A very good jumper.
Food: Flake, granules, frozen food, live food etc.
