Habitat: Mexico. Found in a variety of habitats from clear mountain streams to polluted roadside ditches. 

Potential size: Male 6cm, Female 8cm.

Social behaviour: A Generally peaceful community fish but can become aggressive. Best combined with hardy species that prefer similar conditions. 

Food: Flake, granules, frozen food, live food etc.
