Common name: Assorted Angelfish.

 Species: Pterophyllum scalare.

Habitat: Central Amazon, Tributaries to Peru and Eastern Ecuador.

Potential size: 15cm but usually smaller in the aquarium.

Social behaviour:Territorial but generally peaceful suitable for nearly all medium to large-fish community aquariums. May become aggressive when spawning. Angelfish school when young then form pairs. Keep individually or in groups of 4-5+.

Food: Flake, frozen food, live food etc.
