Species: Hypancistrus sp. (L260).

Habitat: Known only from the lower rio Tapajós in Pará state, northern Brazil, from Santarém at its mouth to the village of Pimental, south of Itaituba.

Potential size: 10cm.

Social behaviour: A peaceful community fish.

Food: Wafers, tablets, vegetable matter etc.
