Common name: Steel Blue Killifish.

Species: Fundulopanchax gardneri.

Habitat: Africa; Nigeria and Cameroon. Inhabits creeks, swamps, streams and pools in humid, forested, highland savannah and areas of rainforest.

Potential size: 5-5.5cm.

Social behaviour: A robust killi that can be kept with other fish of a similar size and nature. Males can be aggressive toward one another but provided the aquarium contains sufficient refuges a group can normally be maintained together.

Food: Flake, frozen food, live food etc.
